| Dear Friends of Helping Haitian Angels,
Our wonderful team of volunteers (HHA family) returned home last night from a very emotional and fulfilling week in Haiti. God blessed us with the time to ”get vertical” with our precious Kay Anj kids, our mama’s, security and Haitian families. We played duck duck chicken, danced, colored, wrote letters with our kids. Park Valley Church womens bible studies blessed our children with church clothes for Easter! They couldn’t wait to try on their new dresses, button down shirts, new shoes! We praised and worshiped our God at Calvary Baptiste Church with our Haitian friends and families. What a gift to be invited to take communion with them. We visited the Citadel with our kids, took them to the beach for a few hours where they ate their first Girl Scout cookies! They loved them!!
They were beyond excited when we began hiding eggs for our 2nd annual KAD (Kay Anj D’Ayiti Oprhanage) Easter egg hunt! They joy that 3 plastic eggs brings is priceless.
We watched our boys win their soccer game on Thursday! They were so proud to have us cheering them on!
We worked with our older girls on their sewing program and our older boys with their carpentry program.
We spent time with Linsey’s street boys. They are incredibly rough but loving at the same time. They just need love, touch, attention. What a blessing to spend time getting to know them. They are Gods gifts.
The kids loved reading the letters from their “special friends”. Your letters let them know that they matter and that they’re loved. They tell me to tell you that they pray for you everyday. They know you and adore you.
Our Pastor Eustache informed us that he is resigning so that he can spend more time on his Calvary Baptiste Church family. He has been with us for two years and has been a wonderful Kay Anj Orphanage director and father to our 44 kids. Linsey will step in and fill his big shoes. She is looking forward to her new challenge! God will give her all she needs to be a wonderful and successful KAD director.
Thank you all for your continued support, love and hearts for our kids and for HHA. We could do none of this without you!
Mesi Anpil,
Debbie and Bill
