Debbie Harvey wins Working Women Award

Harvey was one of seven women who received the 2011 Toyota Tribute to Working Women Award.  In conjunction with WJLA-TV, Toyota’s award honors women from Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia who have made a dramatic difference in their workplace, community or home.

Ms. Harvey and the remaining six winners were recognized at an awards luncheon held today at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. and hosted by ABC-7 News co-anchor, Alison Starling.  In attendance with Harvey was her husband, Bill Harvey and son, Jacob Harvey.  Harvey’s Helping Haitian Angels team was also in attendance as they immediately left for a trip to Haiti that afternoon.  Ms. Harvey was nominated by Kelly Lavin who was a 2005 winner of the award.

Congratulations Debbie!
